Jessica Alba has always been known to favor marriage before giving birth to her first child.

She has re-iterated that point by stating she’s still determined to marry her fiancé Cash Warren before her baby is born.

While offering few clues about where and when, Alba says: “I’m getting married, yes.” And it doesn’t sound like Cash is getting a whole lot of choice in the matter.

Given the current trend of keeping celebrity marriages shrouded in secrecy - we may not know until weeks after the big event.

Jessica Alba tells us that she is making final frantic preparations for the arrival of her first baby with fiancé Cash Warren.

“I’m just trying to get my house ready before the baby comes,” Jessica explained at PEOPLE’s book party for Healthy Child Healthy World on Wednesday night. “It’s kind of hectic, it’s getting close and the house isn’t even ready yet.

Jessica explains that having time off from her acting career has been extremely healthy for her.

Jessica Alba and the rest of the gang behind the upcoming movie “The Love Guru” have teamed up with the NHL to film a special commercial for the playoff season.

The commercial stars Mike Meyers as a guru who helps his team lift the Stanley Cup. The commercial is already being shown on NHL.com, and will air throughout the playoff TV broadcasts.

Don’t forget the movie is out on June 20th!

Jessica Alba didn’t top the poll but still came in the top ten of the world’s best dressed women according to Britain’s Glamour Magazine.

The Hollywood hottie placed in eighth in the annual poll.

Glamour editor Jo Elvin said: “Kate’s back with a vengeance. Her maverick approach to fashion is an inspiration.” Others stars who made the top 10 - aside from Jessica Alba - include Rachel Bilson, Jennifer Aniston, and Keira Knightley. Britney Spears was named worst dressed, in a list which also included Naomi Campbell, Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone.”

Jessica Alba told her friends and family that she is expecting a baby girl at her baby shower on Sunday afternoon.

The actress was full of smiles as she arrived at the event in Studio City on Sunday afternoon. She was wearing a black tunic with V neck and cut out shoulder.

Celebrities in attendance included socialite Kim Kardashian, Rashida Jones and Jaime King according to E! television.

The shower was held outdoors under umbrellas with white and lavender decor, with soft soothing music playing in the background.
